When Nature Colors Tools: Inspiration from a Butterfly

Decemeber in Hangzhou always means cold, especially on rainy days. We call it shi leng (damp-cold), it feels more penetrating than dry frost. It's not just the temperature, but the humidity. This kind of cold seeps straight into your bones. 

Today is sunny, i’m walking in the factory park after lunch. Suddenly, a butterfly catches my attention. I’m so surprised because it’s winter now, while butterfly always come in spring. My heart whispers the exclamation, like a child’s. What spreads out from it’s a pure, clear joy, unadulterated. I take out my phone and capture the moment.  Amazing, what a beautiful color palette. It reminds me of the time when we established the FUYI TOOL brand. In the past years, the ppr welding machines were almost always green, why? Because PPR pipes and fittings are green. So many manufacturers made their socket fusion welding machines green too. But we want to be different. I thought blue would be better.You can find many APP logos always blue, it conveys trust , professionalism and calmness. The real challenge was choosing which blue. Pantone offers endless shades. I spent many days one a color card, searching for the perfect one. Now looking at this butterfly, it hits me: why look at pantone number card when nature already paints the world’s most beautiful palette.
