Welding and fusion steps
After softening, the operator quickly removes the pipe and fittings from the heating block and immediately inserts the end of the pipe into the socket of the fitting, using the positioning device of the welding machine to maintain axial alignment to ensure the precise combination of the two parts. The insertion depth is usually specified by standards to ensure the strength and sealing performance of the interface.
Cooling and curing stage
After plugging in, the joint must remain still and wait for a certain period of time for the softened plastic to cool and solidify naturally. The cooling time is related to the diameter of the pipe, the type of material and the ambient temperature, usually ranging from 15 seconds to several minutes.
